Tea tree essential oil

Uses:

• Skin applications:

  Place a few drops on a cotton swab and apply to cold sores, acne pimples, warts, boils or nail fungus.

• In atmospheric diffusion:

  Diffusing tea tree essential oil is strongly recommended if you wish to

  clog the airways and alleviate a flu-like state.

• Dry or wet inhalation:

  Tea tree essential oil inhalation is ideal during the winter when the

  colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and ENT infections The principle is the same as for diffusion into the air while you breathe in its powerful aroma.

  You can opt for the dry method by applying a few drops on a handkerchief, or for wet inhalation by pouring a few drops into a bowl of boiling water. Thanks to the water vapor, this second technique is very effective in moistening the nostrils and increasing respiratory comfort.

• Orally:

  This technique is especially indicated to treat sore throat or angina.

  It is advisable to place 1 drop on a piece of sugar or a tablespoon of honey before letting it melt under the tongue.

• For the hair:

  On dry hair: mix 4 drops of tea tree essential oil with 6 drops of lemon essential oil in 10 cl of olive oil. Apply this mixture on the hair.

  You can also add a few drops of tea tree essential oil to a mild shampoo.
